Energy Star

Goetzmann Custom Homes as become an Energy Star Partner to help provide our customers with the opportunity to enjoy all the benefits that being Energy Star as to offer.  To qualify for an Energy Star Home, the home must meet strict guidelines for energy efficiency set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.   An Energy Star Homes must be at least 15% more energy efficient than homes built to the 2004 International Residential Code (IRC). 

Some of the improvements of an Energy Star Home include are:

·         High–Performance Windows

·         Tight Construction and Ducts

·         Efficient Heating and Cooling Equipment

·         ENERGY STAR Qualified Lighting and Appliances
